About the Author Captain Kailash Limbu was born in 1981 in Khebang, one of the most remote villages in Nepal. He joined the 2nd Battalion Royal Gurkha Rifles in 1999 and has been on operations in Bosnia, Sierra Leone and undertook five tours of active service in Afghanistan. He is married with two children and is currently serving in the UK.
