About the Author
John McTaggart served 16 years as a police officer in a wide variety of roles and continues to have a close association with the police service. He has been Response Inspector in Cheshire, and commanded the Warrington Division Crime Car Unit and the Proactive Early Intervention Team. John also pioneered the original candidate training for the police assessment centre, and in 2001 founded Talking Blues, (www.talkingblues.co.uk) a national police recruitment coaching company. He is based in Heswell, Wirral in Merseyside, UK.
